• Other Credit Options at CCC

No matter where you may be in your academic career, Clackamas Community College offers a variety of ways to earn college credits. If you’re still in high school but interested in gaining early college credit, or looking to transfer your military training and experience into a degree program, we can help you. If your goal is to apply exam results to credit, we can facilitate that too. There are numerous options available.

  • College Credit Alternatives at CCC Include:

    Advanced College Credit (ACC)

CCC has agreements with high schools in the college district to grant college credit for certain approved college-equivalent classes. This program allows students to earn college credit while still in high school. Students must complete the curriculum as approved by the college, register with the college and pay a fee for the credits earned through ACC.

For more information please visit the ACC website, call the ACC office at 503-594-3208 or talk to your high school counselor.

    Advanced Placement (AP)

If you took college-level courses in high school, you may be eligible for college-level credit and placement into college classes. You will need to take the AP Program Exam at your high school and have your test results sent to the CCC Registrar’s Office in Roger Rook Hall.
